Module IWA 2: 2007 - Quality Management Principles Education

ISO 9001:2008 has 8 (eight) the management principles that animate and as a guide for management in implementing international standards, namely this: Customer Focus, Leadership, Involvement of people, Process approach, Systems approach to management, Continual improvement, factual approach to decision making , Mutually beneficial supplier relationships. On the introduction of Iwa 2:2007, stated that there are additional principles of management in the implementation of quality management system ISO 9001 in educational institutions. The addition of this principle will be discussed briefly in this paper.

The first principle is to create additional value for the student / student (learner creating value). This principle is intended to encourage student / student to feel satisfied with the value or benefit they receive. Satisfaction is measured to determine how far to the needs and expectations of the student / students have been met. This measurement should be done regularly or periodically to generate trend data that will be more useful compared with measurements made only once. Results of measurements will be used to review processes and services that create value for the student / student

Additional second principle is to focus on social values (focusing on social value). This principle is related to how the student / students and stakeholders feel about the other's ethics, safety and environmental protection. This is starting from the idea that education organizations can ensure the sustainable growth of the community in general can appreciate the added value of the student / students.

Additional third principle is agility. This is important to maintain growth in the environmental education that drastic change, and change the conditions that continue to change this into an opportunity for sustainable success in the educational organization.

The last principle is autonomy. The principle of autonomy is based on the analysis of environmental and self-analysis. Each organization must decide its own education about the values and perform the steps, and is not affected other things in order not to bias.
