FSSAI-India

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India was established to monitor food safety and certifications in India. The Food Safety Act 2006 was passed replacing PFA Prevention of Food Adulteration Act. An article was published by FSSAI in Times of India to create awareness among the Indian consumers. Licencing and Registeration Act 2011 makes its oblilgatory for all the food producers and local restaurants to get registered by fullfilling the food safety regulations.
