International Food Protection Training Institute situated in USA, is dedicated to improving food safety by career-spanning, standards-based training for food protection professionals. Intially the training institute was formed with the funding from FDA(Food and Drug Administration). The Training Institute Advisory Council represents a diverse group of food protection agencies and associations, industry, consumer advocates, and academia.
The Institute IFPTI offers training courses and fellowship programs with certain eligliblity criteria. Its Fellowship in Food Protection program, established in 2010, is designed to provide experienced food regulatory professionals, from all areas of food protection, with critical-thinking, problem-solving and decision making skills within the framework of food regulatory science, law and policy.Its a good option for US citizens who are willing to continue their career on food protection. This fellowship program is recently certified by ANSI-American National Standards Institute.
